Toronto is Canada’s largest city and boasts fantastic museums, funky bars and restaurants, luxurious hotels and a rich multi-cultural heritage of more than 80 ethnic groups. Located on the northern shore of Lake Ontario it is home to the world’s longest street, Yonge Street, the world’s largest free standing structure, the CN Tower that is 553 metres tall and the world’s largest underground shopping complex, PATH, making it one of the most impressive cities in North America. As well as these signs of modernity the city also features some Victorian and Edwardian architecture that survive alongside the skyscrapers.
